STYLE ME NATURAL: PROTECTIVE TWISTS

Hey people!!! It is winter time and, if you have natural hair, you know that winter is synonymous with protective styling. Protective styles are hairstyles that protect your hair from the elements that can cause hair harm and lessen one's manipulation of those sensitive curls. At my current length (I am super unsure due to severe shrinkage), my go-to protective style is individual twists. I like them most because I can pin them, hat them, turbo turban it up, and still be very stylish. I really love my hair. I wanted to go natural but my past failed attempts convinced me that this journey would end with a hot comb. But I haven't straightened yet! Enjoying the curl too much!
