My girl Mara had rough day the other day. In a nutshell, she was just trying to be herself and do the right thing but it was misinterpreted. She felt embarrassed when she was called out about it and said it bruised her ego. Well I know exactly how you feel because it happens to me all the time. The "Natural Bitch Face" as Malibu has coined it is exactly what people don't get about me also. But if we have to change our lack of smile, can you change your lack of style, or lack of intelligence, or lack of naivety??? It's not fair that when I am being myself, myself is a Bitch because I am assertive and I carry myself a certain way. I am not bozo the clown or Face from Nick Jr. Why do I have to smile all the time?! At the end, Mara said grin and bear it. I say bump that, DO YOU!!!!! No one has the right to belittle you for being yourself. They don't have to agree but they have to respect you and your big ego. Because by trying to dampen yours, they are boosting their own.... which is most likely non-existent and fake!!! Well I could just really relate to Mara's video post below and I couldn't comment on her blog so I wrote an entry on my own blog lol. That was my rant, here is hers. SMOOCHES XOXO
