ALTUZARRA SPRING 2011 RTW

Another Thanks to New York Mag for being my fashion source!!! I love it. They make it easy to stay updated on what's new and trending in the fashion world. And this time I randomly picked a designer I knew nothing about and I found the upcoming Spring 2011 collection for Altuzarra. It was interesting because all the pieces were black or white with little punches of neon colors, snake print, and navy. Below are my favorites. It's always an adventure testing new waters :) Enjoy! LIL KIM SPEAKS ABOUT BEEF

Now, I love Nicki. But I have always loved Lil Kim, I grew up listening to her. The effect that Nicki Minaj has now is the effect that Lil Kim had then, and really still has on that generation. Are there similarities? Sure. However, I can tell the differences and I honor it in both of them. The beef between them: I think it's stupid and I wish it would end. In the next video, Lil Kim makes some really good points. However, I am the type of person where if you know someone is wrong and they have it coming, let God get them. It's just unfortunate for Kim because Nicki and Diddy (also mentioned in the interview below) are racking in the dough with their new albums at the top of the charts. Lil Kim may be justified in how she feels, but it's making her look like a hater. I just want her to make no more statements, get in the studio and make the hottest album, build the Queen Bee empire and get more artists out there, more female MCs who respect what you have done, and will really listen to her guidance. Because she seems like she is wise and could help someone from making the same mistakes she made. I really understand Kim more after this interview. It's like everyone is on Nicki's side, all the men rather. And none of the other female rappers are speaking out.
